Our Customers

Numbers may be our business, but people are our passion. Those people include our customers, our team, and the lives we touch – from Philadelphia, to Phoenix, to Rwanda. (Yes, Rwanda!)

For the past several years, Kregel & Company has partnered with Kula, an organization dedicated to eradicating poverty by empowering entrepreneurs. Through our Kregel Gives initiative, we donated to Kula on behalf of every customer who filed their tax return through our office.

These donations have amounted to more than $100,000, which went toward funding the construction of a Women’s Center in Rwanda to provide 115 “fellows” with training, business investment, and leadership skills.

And we’re just getting started…

Caffeinating entrepreneurial success in Rwanda

This year, our partnership with Kula continues! For every tax return completed with Kregel & Company for the 2024 tax year, we will contribute $50 to Kula. These donations will go toward the Kula Fellowship, a 12-month poverty graduation model designed to empower and equip Rwandan coffee farming families to move out of extreme poverty.

Kula’s model focuses on building sustainable businesses, raising healthy families, and empowering communities. Their Program Pillars (Equitable Entrepreneurship, Women’s Empowerment, Environmental Sustainability, Regenerative Impact, Locally-Led Solutions, and Evidence-Based Actions) align closely with our firm’s values. Together, we’re investing in entrepreneurship and improving lives by providing opportunity, peace of mind, and inspiration.

CLEMENTINE established a successful honey business, expanded her coffee farm, and secured education for her children.	VIRGINIE transformed her family’s financial future by applying financial literacy skills to her coffee farm and launching a successful weaving business.

We know tax prep is far from fun for most of our customers (though we enjoy it, of course!), but hopefully knowing your efforts are making a bigger impact makes the process a little less painful. We look forward to partnering with you and Kula to change lives together!
