K&Co is located in Philadelphia. Do I have to be in Philadelphia or Pennsylvania to work with you?
No. The headquarters for our CPA firm are in Philadelphia, but our team and customers are distributed across the country. All systems – from accounting and tax tools, to communication, to signatures – are completely digital, so business can be done anytime, anywhere. While we welcome seeing you in person, the vast majority of our customers interact with us solely by email, phone, and online tools.
What’s the best way to get a fast response from K&Co?
No matter how you interact with us, you can expect a fast response – usually within hours. The best way to reach us is via email.
Is my information secure when sending it via email, Dropbox, etc.?
We do not share sensitive documents via email, and we encourage you to avoid that too. Instead, our team uses secure tools like Dropbox and Adobe Sign, which have multiple layers of protection like encryption, secure transfers, and two-factor authentication.
Our team may occasionally reach out to you by phone or text, but only in the context of ongoing work you’re expecting from us. Please be cautious of any unexpected calls or messages claiming to be from K&Co or the IRS. Neither our team nor any government agency will request sensitive information through unsolicited phone calls or text messages.
You can also protect yourself by following best practices, like checking links before clicking or logging in, only making payments to people and entities you know, and turning on two-factor authentication for all online accounts.
